Medical device cybersecurity requirements are landing on Energy, Power & Commodities operators faster than most compliance teams anticipated, driven by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's 2023 cyber device guidance and parallel scrutiny from the U.S. Department of Energy and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity over networked diagnostic and monitoring equipment embedded in grid and plant infrastructure.
